Hello! My name is Paul Barbary. I'm a retired high school English teacher living in Croydon, Inner Western Sydney.
My career as a high school English teacher started in 1974 after graduating with distinctions in English and Drama. This year (2025) I am turning 73 years of age.
I retired from large classrooms in 2012. Since then I have been tutoring students privately with Google Meet
I provide tuition mainly in Year 12 HSC Advanced, Standard or Extension English but I also tutor students in Years 7 to 11.
Students usually prefer a one-on-one lesson for one hour per week.
I mark and return work in between lessons and provide unlimited email correspondence on assignments, assessment tasks and course content.
Private GOOGLE MEET tutoring is $50/week but the cost is less when paying for the term in advance. There is also an introductory offer of 10 weeks for $45/week.
Unsatisfied students or parents are immediately refunded.
Tutoring boosts confidence and improves performance in assessment tasks.
